My son and I used this as a base to visit other cities in Italy. Great location for strolling for an evening meal or to the train station. We did lots of star gazing from the roof terrace. It could be noisy at night from the street, but once shutters closed we weren't disturbed. Kitchen small but everything to cook dinner as we cooked a lot of the time.
The terrasse i fantastic and it’s hard to tire of looking at the church and the old traditional rooftops. The street can be noisy at night and the kitchen is quite small for real cocking, but it was very nice and clean, and the owner is very helpfull. The apartment is as central as it can be, and just great for exploring Bologna. Cool inside on a warm day and sun all afternoon and evening on the terrasse.
Busy street, full of students, lots of restaurants and bars in the area, as well as market stalls with wonderful food. Can be noisy at night. Apartment is good value, everything within walking distance, including the train station.Kitchen and bathroom small but adequate if you don't plan to cook much; we stayed one week and bought food to eat in a couple of evenings and had lunches on the terrace, otherwise ate out. Up 4 flights with no lift, so not recommended for small children/buggies, unfit or infirm, no problem for everyone else. Loved Bologna, many interesting places to visit in the city and day trips by train are very easy. Had a great time
