“For the fans”

As a big Ferrari fan the Museo Ferrari was a must while visiting Maranello. It's not very big, but the expositions change quite often, so it has a good potential of revisiting. Last time I went there was a whole Formula 1 stands and grid, quite amazing.

“Pilgrimage to Ferrari”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014 via mobile

Excellent day out, lots of history combined with the California special edition show. The latest technology was also great to see, along with a varied combination of Ferrari cars.
Combining the tickets with the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena made sense and offered good value for money.
The souvenir shop was fine for adults, but I did see a few children perplexed by the prices, leaving them with little if anything to buy with their pocket money. I'm sure Ferrari could do some stickers or something reasonably priced for young children?
On balance though an excellent place to visit.
Note be careful driving nearby as people tend to get distracted by the Ferrari cars and lose concentration, we nearly ended up with a motorcycle in our car because he was gawping elsewhere!

“Awesome experience!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014

Visiting the Ferrari Museum is an amazing experience. It will bring you back to Nick Lauda's era and you will be able to see all the Trophies and most beautiful Ferraris, including the awesome Ducati motorcycles. And you can also do the bus tour to the Factory, but don't forget to buy the tickets online in advance. They are very busy and you may not find tickets available to the bus tour when you get there. Enjoy!

“A must for car fans but...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2014

My husband and son wanted me to go in with them which I did, reluctantly. In short, it was great to see my son enjoying the cars and I was glad I went for that reason. I felt the charging of an extra 25 euros for a simulator ride was excessive and there isn't much for kids to buy with pocket money as a souvenir. I asked if he could buy one pencil instead of a box of six (28 euros) or a pencil pot with ten pencils (265 euros) but no. We picked up a single pencil from a nearby store for 1.5 euros instead. It would be nice if they offered something for the kids as well as the ferrari obsessed adult.

“The Sistine Chapel of Car Museums”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014

A great collection of significant racing and road cars, located just meters away from the factory.

Cars that greats like Phil Hill, Mario Andretti, Gilles Villeneuve, Niki Lauda and more drove. Some interesting concept cars and displays of engine technology from the Scuderia. You can also drive a Ferrari Simulator or rent a Ferrari from a variety of local merchants adjacent to the museum.

We also did the campus bus tour - it's relatively exclusive (only so many seats and only done twice a day) - where they take you on a drive through the factory campus, explaining their corporate culture (an emphasis of Ferrari Family, and being one of the best places on earth to work), and then to the Fiorano test track where you actually get to take a lap (in the bus, don't get too excited). You can get your Tifosi shopping fix amongst several locations besides the museum gift shop (Warm Up across the street, and the Official Factory Store at the ground floor of the Planet Hotel).

A great place to be immersed in the lore of Ferrari
