Alltough it is obviously a business oriented hotel, we spent a very nice week here and traveled around by car. Staff was very nice and helpful and speaks English. Breakfast was excellent and also food in the restaurant for the diner. I would recommend pasta or shrimp salad. In the evening you can sit outside and drink good prossecco or coctail.

We stayed in the older wing of the hotel, rooms are nice and clean, bathroom is nice. Airconditioning helped us survive hot days and hot nights :).

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Parma.

Room Tip: We stayed in number 87 and it was great. Next to our room there was a door to fire stairs which was...

Definitely a business orientated hotel. Very clean and smart rooms, excellent breakfast. Dining Room offers good food, courteous staff. Our visit was unfortunately marred by problems with the air conditioning but otherwise would have been excellent.

We stayed here because it was the only hotel walking distance. It definitely exceeded expectations. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean and breakfast was great. There were only two issues. 1. The shower was one of those hand held ones but it was placed on the wall in a funky way which made it hard to use. 2. There was no AC. Apparently, the city hadn't approved it to be turned on but it was a bit warm and I kind of felt like they should have told me that before I checked in since I paid for an air conditioned room. overall, though, it was nice and the staff was friendly.

Room Tip: We booked the "suite". it was nice but I'm not sure it was so different from the regu...

We were looking for a hotel on the way to Venice, convenient to the highway and a quick tour of Parma. Villa Ducale was great. Beautiful room, extreme cleanliness, great service and a fantastic (and complimentary) breakfast. This is a business oriented hotel andnot a delux resort. You get far more than you pay for.

Parma is small town, that has a beatiful architecture, and also a big food industry with great restaurants and women. Therefore I don't understand why there is not a big hotel in the town. This hotel is supposedly, one of the best, but in my opinion, is not good. The social area is OK, with a average restaurant taking into account you are in Italy, and a good bar. The problem was my room. I don't know if all the rooms are like this one, but the 111, is very small. There is a glass division between the bathroom and the room. That does not separate very well sounds and odours, it has a micro TV, that does not even work fine, and a not confortable bed. The design pf tne room is like a cage, and least but not last, the wifi, does not reach the room. Is this is not a bad business hotel?...I don't know what it is... Not recommended for work. For tourism, I think is Ok, if you go just to sleep, because if you ate going to be at the hotel some time, then stay away.

We got a great deal on Expedia for the hotel and fully enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were nice, nothing spectacular but perfectly fine and well kept. The staff at reception were great and spoke good English and were always happy to help and recommend restaurants and bars in Parma.

The location is the only thing that lets the hotel down. You can walk into the town centre but its a good 30-40 min walk and takes you past a motor way and down a few side streets. Our experience of Parma was that it was fully safe and we were more than happy to walk into town during the day. At night it still seemed fine but we preferred a cab, 20 euros from the town centre.

Overall Parma is a lovely place, the nightlife is surprisingly really good and the food is absolutely stunning. I was really happy with Villa Ducale and would most likely return.

even if the entrance may seem a little outdated, this 4 star hotel features decent size rooms, clean and quiet. Located very close to the highway, at the Parma exit, it offers complimentary private parking, wi-fi and great buffet breakfast. The only complaint is about the freezing temperature in the breakfast room.
