“Packed with fascinating musical history”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

A remarkably substantive collection of musical artifacts of the life and times of Arturo Toscanini. Enthusiasts failiar with Toscanini's musical career in the United States and the UK will find much useful information and memorabilia stemming from his Italian operatic career. Our guide, who barely spoke English, was nevertheless proved willing, enthusiastic and ultimately, vividly communicative. A very worthwhile hour that genuinely enriched our visit to Parma.

“Small but interesting”
Reviewed 18 September 2013

Since Toscanini didn't live here long, the house is not the main attraction, but it is full of photos, information, and videos about the man. We had an excellent guide through the museum, and his enthusiasm added a lot to our visit.

“So much history in one small home!”
Reviewed 14 December 2012

Arturo Toscanini was a native of Parma and was born in this home & left at a young age. Years later a relative purchased this home and filled it with amazing things that remind us and show us about Arturo's life. It was amazing to watch and listen to old recordings of Arturo as he played around the world. Arturo is considered by many as the most famous maestro in the world. If you are in Parma and you love his work then you will thoroughly enjoy this timeless treasure.

“Friendly staff and reasonably priced”
Reviewed 9 February 2012

Visited the 'Arturo Toscanini' Museum today, paid a reduced fee as we were both students of 1 euro. The staff there were friendly and one guy showed us each and every room, mentioning everything within the room and providing some useful background in Italian about the life of Arturo Toscanini. He was friendly and informative. Well worth a visit if you have a spare hour in Parma.

“A must visit!”
Reviewed 31 January 2012

This is an excellent museum to visit. The staff was very friendly and although their English was, well, non-existant, we really enjoyed the displays as well as the DVD at the end of the tour through the different rooms. Definitely a must-visit!
