This museum, in the birthplace of the famous conductor, nicely documents his life and rise to fame. A guide accompanied me and explained many details. They had a video of Toscanini conducting the NBC orchestra, with the music filling the space to provide a perfect background. Avoiding excessive glorification, the commentary mentioned that the praise heaped upon him grew to be fairly extreme.
A short but worthwhile activity for classical music lovers and those interested in the transplantation of Italian culture to the US.
