You've never seen this before. Do not miss it, the visit cost 2€, and take 5-10 minutes but it will blow your eyes.

I have never seen any thing like it. Beautifully proportioned theatre created entirely in wood. Little used in its day, then destroyed in the war and rebuilt it has had a strange history. But stunning

This teatre is entirely built in wood a few centuries ago, and it is large and elegant. It tells us what the shows looked like in that distant time, and how much people liked art and music in that part of Italy.

Simply, this about sums this place up. You just do not want to leave; you can hardly wait to go back!! Where oh where have all these master tradespeople/craftsmen gone ? We wonder how many learn the art of wood carving anymore ? How many cabinet makers, wood turners , inlayers and boat builders are being trained now ? There is just "something" about woodwork; the "living" feel that it conveys to the observer and to touch a nice bit of carving.
Go visit this theatre and you will see evidence of this craftmanship in abundance... and come out wondering why you did not stay longer.
