This is the best thing we have seen in Parma. It is an old armory dated 1618 , it's all wood!! There are beautiful churches Parma, but this is unique. The ticket to see it often includes a museum with paintings of Correggio, Beato Angelico and Parmigianino. Worth it.

Quite a stunning and incredible surprise. Very much unexpected given the exterior of the building. Nice to go on stage and imagine performing!

Tired after a day of traveling, and it was 5 pm and the ticket lady was not informative, so we were unclear on what we were paying for. It cost 10 euros each for the theater and 2 museums, which was okay though we had only 2 hours to view. We were not on a tour so probably didn't appreciate all aspects of the theater, but it was pretty spectacular.

I wouldn't normally be passionate about a theatre, but such a remarkable place with a wonderful history
