This is different than the other places in Ravenna. There are some very interesting pieces that are worth seeing.

“Worth the visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 October 2013

Lots of interesting things to see, and the chapel of St Andrew is a real find. Another place in Ravenna that appears under rated and under visited.

“Exquisite ivory throne”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 October 2013

An exquisite ivory throne, and many treasures from the city's Classical past are on display here. There are also some lovely mosaics. Worth taking time for a visit.

“Included in the ticket!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 September 2013

The combined ticket includes this museum which is well worth a visit in its own right - and contains St Andrew's Chapel and a chance to experience incredible mosaics up close.

“The chapel is worth while a visit”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2013

I did not like this museum very much. Some items were nice to glance at (yes you get spoiled in Ravenna) but most was not that interesting. Still a must see for the chapel and the amazing mosaics. You are not allowed to take pictures - some people didn't care I guess so you can have a look already at TA :). Dont forget to visit the Battistero della Neoniano, its just around the corner.
