“Friendly and helpful staff”
Reviewed 3 August 2013

The Hotel Villa Lalla is located in a busy street not too far away from the beach area of Rimini. The street is mostly residential with some other hotels too. There is a nice patio area at the front of the hotel where one can sit and watch the world beyond the hotel.
The small reception area is very friendly and is staffed by helpful and obliging people. I admired the staff in terms of they dealt with some very rude and difficult Russian people.
The breakfast is a standard Italian breakfast with a buffet. The hotel also offers evening meals in a cosy and convivial atmosphere.
Rimini has become very popular with Russian and Ukrainian people. Many establishments now cater to the Russians. I mention this as Russian food is not often to the liking of other nationalities.
My room was of a decent enough size and has a clean shower and storage space. However, the air conditioning did not work properly.
The hotel also has a nice sun terrace for those who wish to sunbathe.
I would return to this hotel without question.

Room Tip: Select a high floor for views and to escape noise from the streets.

We stayed at Villa Lalla last week. The Hotel was very nice. The staff is a family that take personal attention to all the details in an excellent way taking care of all of your requests. Very good location that within 5 minutes to the beach and short walk to the train station!!! Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby as well~! We were extremely surprised to had a lovely room with a balcony. Just like the photo, very clean and modern!!! Simple breakfast but fine. HotelVilla Lalla was a good choice that turned out to be a home run. Will definitely return!!!!!

Room Tip: Definitely room with balcony!!!!

The owners are nice, friendly, helpful people. The place is quiet, although near the beaches and the city center. Rooms are clean and modern. The matresses are good. Food is tasteful, varied, you have a choice. There's a small amount of books in different languages that the guests can borrow from the reception. On the whole, good value for price.

Room Tip: My room was on the first floor. I didn't use a lift. Not a room with a view, but peaceful.

Stayed for two nights and used Rimini as a base for our trip to San Marino. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Great location for access to train station, bus to Rimini and to beach; which was beautiful even for a cold February. Only improvement would be a shower curtain as hard to keep water only in tub without it.

I had one night in the hotel.
Very kind, willing and helpful staff, nice rooms even if they were a bit too little for 3 people, on the other hand very very clean and cozy. Fantastic breakfast and perfect location.

Indeed, the hotel has a friendly staff, room was clean, modern, well-lit, well-maintained, excellent breakfast and free parking if you were one of 3 or 4 cars to arrive first. Otherwise, parking structure around the corner for a fee. BUT, the single room I had was so small that if I had more than a suitcase it would be challenging to arrange/pack one's things. AND, the single bed would be unacceptable for a tall person because there were walls on three sides of the bed; thus my rating the hotel only "average" instead of very good or better. Tall architects usually think about this in design. I did see inside a double room and it looked to be of the same good quality in furnishings as my single room. The wireless internet connection was erratic. An attempt to use the hotel laptop in the lobby to notify family members that I had arrived in Rimini ended in failure because five keys were missing from the key board. Replacement key boards are cheap and this should have been attended to long before my arrival. If traveling solo again, I would not stay there unless a larger room was available. If traveling as a double, then so long as I did not absolutely need wireless interent, it would be good choice. Plus, it is only a 10 minute walk to Da Ugo, a nearby restaurant that I gave an excellent rating here on TripAdvisor.

Room Tip: If you are traveling as a single, contact the hotel in advance and let them know that you do not wan...

Dear Customer,
firstly thanks from the bottom of my heart for your comment and especially for considering the positive aspects of our hotel, such as the location, the friendly staff, good quality furniture and the excellent breakfast.
We always try to do our best to make our guests feel at home and we are deeply sorry if aspects of your holiday weren't satisfied.

When we are full-booked, especially during fair's period, could happen to do not have spacious room available and, as in your case, to provide a smaller room.
We regret to didn't offer you the best of our service, but as soon as possible we changed the room.
Clearly this wasn't enough to leave a good memory of our hotel but if you would come back in Rimini, we would glad to receive you again with the aim to find the best solution for you.

Best regards
