This was such a memorable part of my trip to Rimini. Yes, it's just a bridge, and it's in use, so there's not a lot of activities there. But it's pretty remarkable to walk over something that's 2000 years old. The stones are worn from all the people who have walked over it for thousands of years, going about their business. It's so amazing to think about what has happened in the time that bridge has stood. It probably also helps that coming from the US we're lucky if anything is 100 years old, so I'm always awed by historic structures like this. Even if you aren't into old things, it's very picturesque with the river and old buildings.

It is a pretty busy bridge for cars, as noted by many other reviews, so watch out for traffic. The other side, il Borgo San Giuliano is so charming it's worth crossing the bridge for. Plus, yummy restaurants over there too!

We had two meals out in the old town which was a nice change from the strip. There is a lovely square where you can sit and people watch having a few beers all the locals congregate here in the evening

It's splendid and extraordinary to see and cross this ancient bridge which is still in daily use. The steady flow of traffic means that crossing it is quite an experience too! As other contributors have commented, the best view is from the park side.

Cross the bridge from the town side, then turn right. You'll find yourself in tiny, mostly traffic-free streets, amongst brightly-coloured terraced cottages, many of which have murals painted on their walls in a variety of styles and subject matters.

A must see when you visit Rimini.
We walked over the bridge from the old town.
We stood by the river and took time to reflect just how old and beautiful the bridge truly is.

The bridge itself isn't something unseen but regarding his ancient histiry and the good location near the center you had to take some time and see it.
