“The most beautiful place in Italy isn't even in Italy”

We went here on a whim and I think both of us agreed that it was the best part of our trip. With beautiful views, a light breeze, twisting roads, and well kept gardens what is not to enjoy? Also just FYI, there are lots of Russians here, so you can choose to speak Italian, Russian, or English. I sort of want to leave it a bad review so that fewer tourists will know about this place - that is how lovely San Marino is. If you are on the fence about going, just do it, you'll be happy you did.

A high mountain with easy access, big cliffs, and when the fog rolls in (very common) appears to be above the clouds... what's not to like?

Monte Titano and its towers offer some of the most stunning panoramas that I have ever seen. Exploring the well preserved fortresses and towers one gets a feeling of being transported to bygone ages. One of the towers also houses a good collection of medieval weapons. Beware the route to the top of the towers can involve some tricky climbs. But once you were there you will be rewarded with some truly breathtaking views.

Such beautiful views from Monte Titano. One of the most amazing views over the Emilia-Romagna region. You can see Rimini and all the way to the Adriatic Sea. The sunsets here are like nothing you will see anywhere else

I almost think this is more impressive from a distance. Once you're inside it's a small fortress with not much to explore, but it does offer some fantastic views and allows you to see the other towers in San Marino.
