“if you have time pay a visit”
Reviewed 25 August 2013

there in not anything particularly special except for a side chapel inside of the cathedral on the right side, with some painting of Tiepolo. to be honest, they didn't really captured my attention, but you remain to admire and to observe since they are Tiepolo's paintings

“nice place”
Reviewed 12 August 2013

The cathedral is situated in a central square of the city. We visited it on the Sunday evening. There were not many people. Worth a visit.

“Amazing.”
Reviewed 10 August 2013

Loved it. Spent an hour gawking at the 3D trickery above the alter, the paintings of
naked lovelies checking out each others' bums: oooh missus! we can see right up your skirt!, the nasty little cut-off floating baby heads, the moulded clouds pouring down from heaven, the carved curtains which we both had to touch the be sure that they were truly stone and not real curtains. We took in binoculars and could see the details.

“Tiepolo, relics, wood carvings, stereo surround organ sound system.”
Reviewed 14 June 2013

When you walk in, the air changes, and the light. It is vast and airy and decorated in that extravagant style that you either love or hate or grow to love or hate. Tiepolo is here, and some relics and icons. There are beautiful carvings, and you can walk behind the altar. It is really worth it, if you are in town. The highlight, of course, is the dome - an early attempt at 3D vision, and it works, and is wondrous. How on earth did they lie there and paint the stuff? On what scaffolding? Must have been murder.
