An absolutely gorgeous largely outdoor restaurant with a spectacular view out over the Ligurian Sea and doen the coast to the next Cinque Terre town, Manorolo. The garden setting of the tables is beautiful, with trees and flowers all around.
The food is every bit as good as the view: typical Ligurian seafood and fish dishes are the stars. Especially recommended is the hot seafood appetizer - last night's consisted of seven different dishes, including mussels, stuffed large calamari, octopus, etc., and was just divine - beautifully prepared and served and absolutely delicious. Pasta dishes are great - we had a pesto lasagna and a fresh pasta of very large tubes in a fresh tomato/basil sauce. Sadly, we had no room for a
secondi course, but we did finish up with some delicious Sciachettra, the local dessert wine which can be found no where other tha Cinque Terra. Service was very attentive. A local white wine with dinner was excellent. A great meal
