Stopped at Il Porticciolo for lunch today after checking into our hotel.
It very crowded with what appeared to be a large tour group, but the gentleman who looked to be the owner told me he would find a table for 4 if we didn't mind sitting inside.
Once seated we were greeted promptly by our server who was very attentive even though he was busy with several other tables.
We ordered a house white wine, Garbin Vino Bianco, simple, light and refreshing, and a perfect compliment to our meals.
Fried octopus, fish stew, linguini with mushrooms, and pesto ravioli were all wonderfully prepared.
Located right on the main street in Manarola, Il Porticciolo has a good variety of seafood dishes, outside dining, and a friendly and attentive staff.
