Stopped at Il Porticciolo for lunch today after checking into our hotel.
It very crowded with what appeared to be a large tour group, but the gentleman who looked to be the owner told me he would find a table for 4 if we didn't mind sitting inside.
Once seated we were greeted promptly by our server who was very attentive even though he was busy with several other tables.
We ordered a house white wine, Garbin Vino Bianco, simple, light and refreshing, and a perfect compliment to our meals.
Fried octopus, fish stew, linguini with mushrooms, and pesto ravioli were all wonderfully prepared.
Located right on the main street in Manarola, Il Porticciolo has a good variety of seafood dishes, outside dining, and a friendly and attentive staff.

One of the best lobster meals I have ever had. The lobster almost just slipped right out if its shell.

The best meal we had in 5 Terre. Everything was well prepared, and we had very attentive service. Perhaps it helped that the 3 day weekend was wrapping up and it was much less busy than sat or sun.

This place was better than average but pretty frenetic. Everyone is running around like crazy and it takes a while to finally get someone's attention. Food was decent and my travel companion loved her mussels and pasta claiming it was her best meal while in Cinque Terre.

We were served by a friendly lady in the cafe/bar section because the main restaurant was full. She was friendly, however a little rushed at times. The food was good. The spaghetti vogole was nice, maybe a little too much on the al dente side. Nice atmosphere, would consider going back.
