My Mum and I stayed in Ca de Gianchi for 4 nights and it was wonderful. Sergio answered our knock on the door and showed us to our apartment. It was cool and roomy and had everything we needed for a self contained stay. It is situated above a pharmacy about 150 metres uphill from the end of the train tunnel. There was a market a few doors up where we shopped for supplies each day and many restaurants to chose from each night. Sergio recommended Billys which was the best meal we had throughout Europe. The apartment had a balcony where we sat and watched the village wake up each day and the locals and tourists go about their day. Manarola was perfect for us - not too noisy and easy to get to the other villages. The bathroom of the apartment has a rock jutting through the wall where the building has been built into the cliff face. The bright colours of the apartment welcomed us back each day. We would definitely return here again.
