To start my review is about their second place to rent in Riomaggiore not Manarola.

Where to start, the location of this apartment (sleeps 4) is perfect, in such a beautiful village Riomaggiore, the first of the Cinque Terra villages. The apartment is spacious for 2 but equally would be fine for 4 to sleep (double and twin rooms) and is great value, but the thing that really makes this apartment is the customer service, Giacomo was very helpful on email before we left and arrange to meet us on arrival at the station to walk to the apartment. All questions/emails were answered really quickly and very efficiently which allowed us to maximise a weekend break. Having read so many other reviews about needing to check in by a certain time, and people being unflexible this was breath of fresh air.

The apartment is up a hill - if you have weekend luggage it is absolutely fine, it takes 4-5mins to walk but if you have a weeks worth of luggage may take a little longer!

There is so much to see I think this is my favourite of the villages.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this authentic Italian apartment or its host.

This place was quite spectacular. First, there are three levels, all overlooking the sea with 2 balconies. It was very clean, it had a large refrigerator and washing machine. It's a 3 minute walk from the front door to to the sea. Giacomo, the owner, was very nice and helpful with information and brought in a router so we could have wifi (at no extra cost). The best part was waking up in the morning, with the balcony door open, to the sound of waves of the Ligurian sea. Unbeatable!

This vacation rental was an absolute GEM! It exceeded all of our expectations. Amazing location, immaculately clean, very accommodating, kind and prompt owner, it was stocked with ample supplies (kitchen supplies, even shampoo, shaving kit, toothbrush kit in case you forgot yours), and it even had a washing machine (SUCH a great thing to have when you're on vacation!). We would stay here again in a heartbeat (and I hope that we get the opportunity to). This was our favorite place we stayed at during our 2 week stay in Italy. THANK YOU GIACOMO!

Want something authentic in cinque terre? This is the place. Easy walk from manarola train station, this 3 story Ligurian home lived up to it's promise. Sea view from every window! Even though lots of tourists around during the day, mornings and evenings were delightful. Giacomo was attentive prearrival and when we got there by meeting us at train station. He was awesome. TIP - apartment has full kitchen - avoid expensive touristy food places by shopping at one of the 2 stores in town and cook yourself, then eat on
your sea view balcony!

Imagine a balmy Sunday evening sitting on a balcony overlooking a port, listening and watching people strolling along the malecon, with a wine glass in your hand. Absolutely enchanting. The three story apartment sits right on the edge of the small plaza. It is very clean, very well equipped and worth every Euro just for the experience. Giacomo was a great host and readily accessible for all of our needs. He provided great local information and helped us make the most of our short stay.

Room Tip: Just a warning the apartment is on three floors with a spiral staircase.

Our host Giacomo was friendly, personable and punctual. He made our stay very easy. We couldn't have asked for a better location. There were two balconies that overlooked the bay at the bottom of the village. We enjoyed watching the bay activities from there as well as the sunsets over the Ligurian Sea with a glass of wine. And it was only steps away from a Michelin starred restaurant.

The best part of the apartment was Giacomo! He was very helpful from start to finish, even driving us with our loads of luggage up the steep mountain to our car! The apartment was basic, but clean and well stocked with saved us from having to buy salt and pepper, etc. The situation of the apartment is ideal - right in the centre of the village, which is a most charming place. We loved the charm of the building and would stay there again next time!
