My husband, daughter and I just spent 3 nights at the hotel Ca D'Andrean and it was lovely. The room was spotless, comfortable and had a lovely terrace facing the vineyards and town. We had delicious pastries and cappuccino in the mornings in their garden with beautiful lemon trees. We visited all 5 towns (hiked when possible as well as via boat and train) and were very pleased that we picked Manarola and Ca D'Andrean as our base.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Ca D'Andrean in Manarola. We found it to be the most peaceful and quiet of the towns (until the day trip buses arrive each day!). The hotel is in a good location with everything in short walking distance. The owner helped us with advice on what to do each day, information on walking trails, maps and transport timetables.
The rooms were a good size, and extremely clean. Breakfast was basic breads, speads, juice and coffee.
Would highly recommend a stay at Ca D'Andrean for the location and service!

Manarola is a great town to stay in! It was quiet at night but still had a variety of restaurants to choose from and an active bar. Hotel Ca D'Andrean was very clean and comfortable. We had a terrace that provided beautiful views of the town and vineyards. (no ocean view is the only slight downside of this location, but we knew this before we booked) It's a slightly more expensive room but worth it. The common spaces of the hotel were also very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. They helped us with the hiking trails and gave recommendations of what to do each day based on how the weather was looking. We also had some questions with the train tickets we booked and they were extremely helpful in helping us figure it out and look up all the different time options. I would absolutely stay here again when we go back!!

Room Tip: Go for the terrace!! There's nothing better than sitting out there in the evening with a glass o...

We stayed here three nights in late October 2012. It was a wonderful hotel, clean, spacious room with a large bathroom and terrace. Large window overlooking the garden and the town. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, helping us with directions and advice. When we came home with a bottle of local wine, they were happy to give us wine glasses, even though they had their own bar which we hadn't realized. When we lost our power adapter, they loaned us another one for our stay. We never had the breakfast, choosing to walk down to a cafe instead. The rooms were very quiet and I loved waking up to the church bells from above. Manarola is a delightful town. Not too overrun by tourists, yet there are plenty of stores, restaurants and services. Tours go through during the day but seem to have a 30 minute window. Evenings were wonderful and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. We had dinner all three nights at Trattoria dal Billy up the hill! It was so delicious we couldn't go anywhere else.

Room Tip: We were in Room 2, which is right on the street side but the town was very quiet in the morning. Usu...

This is a lovely quiet clean & well cared for hotel. Simone was most kind to us & very welcoming. It proved to be a super place to hike the C.T. from there. We enjoyed exploring the C.T. from this point.

Room Tip: They may not want to walk up stairs-- so if that is the case then ask for the ground floor.

In May of 2010, we stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel. Rooms were clean. I did not like the sparse breakfast. It is packaged and not prepared there. The latte' was good and the father made that. The father does not speak much English. He would not allow us to sit out in the yard area. I am not sure why. The son was pleasant but all in all, I did not feel very welcome at this hotel.

my husband and I spent one night in this hotel. It is clean, large room, unusual balcony/terrace off the bathroom, but very pleasant. Aircon worked, bathroom large, good shower, safe and tv in room. Hotel staff friendly and chatted helpfully in English giving us tips for our trip back to Milan (quickest route). you can drive down into the village to leave your bags and then drive back out to the car park before curfew (7pm). Breakfast was 6 euros for bread, croissants (package not fresh) jam, butter and coffee. Hotel explained breakfast was small and was happy either way whether we decided to take it or not. If you need something substantial in the morning then there is a cafe just down the hill that does cooked breakfasts. Coffee is really lovely though! Manarola is a unique place to stay and lovely when the day trippers leave at night - food really good in most of the restaurants and surprisingly affordable for such a popular tourist destination.

Room Tip: Room 2 has a large terrace off the bathroom and good views.
