This hotel is a nice hill hike from the train station - we stayed in the balcony rooms and it was sparse but very adequate. The shower is very small but we had hot water which is always a bonus!

What didn't impress us was one of the staff - sorry I did not get his name. He was very unhelpful and bordered on rude. We are seasoned travellers and strive very hard not to be high maintenance, and it seemed like any thing that was even slightly out of the ordinary (milk for coffee for instance) was a huge inconvenience and sent him into dramatic episode.

On the other hand there was an expat that worked in the afternoons that could not have been more helpful or informative.

I would defiantly give the breakfast a miss not all worth the 6$ and there are lots of great places to eat.

We like Manarola, we like B&B Ca' D'Andrean in Manarola. It is an clean, lovery, well run B&B. Before we came to Cinque Terre, we were told it was no easy to find ideal hotel in these 5 villages. Luckly we found Ca' D'Andrean , although the B&B is not directly face to the sea, it is not that important for us, the location is already very close to the sea. The most valuable point for us is its spacious & clean room. BTW, we love the lemon trees in the garden:-)

Its a simple place, but the owner works hard to make it as pleasant as possible. The room is clean, comfortable and the breakfast is really fresh and good (which you have in a cosy garden, unr the trees)

The hotel is well located, you can easily walk to everywhere.

We were happy to call this place home for two nights. Simon was helpful in getting us a reservation for dinner and also giving us quick guidance on how we should plan our hike through the villages. He serves breakfast and coffee in the beautiful courtyard for 6 Euros per person, which we didn't have time to partake. The hotel is charming and though without water views, it sits on a slope with nice view of the hills and the town. Train station is nearby (less than 5 mins walk) and there is a Co-op market down the street for groceries. We loved Manarola the best out of all 5 villages and high recommends this place!

We enjoyed our stay here and had a nice cozy room with a view of the town. Manarola is a quiet town with a beautiful views and decent restaurants. For the price we paid compared to some of the other hotels, I would recommend this hote, as it had the comforts you expect with a more upscale hotel and a great location in Manarola, including a very quick walk to the metro.

Pros:
Clean room and air conditioned
Easy to work with over email to make reservations (decent english)
Simple breakfast
Nice balcony
Location

Cons
Not the most comfortable of beds
Smaller shower
We didnt have any water views

Room Tip: Ask for a larger room with a view and balcony

What a perfect location and place to stay. The room was clean and cozy with a lovely view of Manrola hillsides. We had the breakfast in the garden and it was perfect. A mix of pasteries , baguette, yogurt, and coffee made to order. Simon the host was gracious and helpful.

This had to be one of the nicest hotels that we stayed at dueling our two week trip. This town is excellent for a little lower key of a beautiful town. It may not be the most popular but that is perfect to make it quiet and a beautiful town to say at.

I would highly recommend a balcony room so you can enjoy the views of the vineyards on the hills. Spacious and very clean room. Air conditioning worked really well, and felt amazing after a big day hiking the gorgeous trails in Cinque Terre.

Here breakfast is not free but they charge €6 per person per day. We opted not to eat there and enjoyed a great warm breakfast just down the street.

WiFi is free and works great all the way up to the top floor where we stayed.

If you pay in cash be when you leave they will give you a 10% discount. This makes this hotel even more pleasurable to stay at.

The host was a little demanding and is not very appreciative of using things in the hotel with out asking for permission. Ask a head of time and he is more than willing to help out. Plan ahead if you are doing some traveling through Cinque Terre and don't plan to spend the night. They don't really appreciate holding onto your bags for the day if you aren't planning to spend another night. The train station in La Spezia has a luggage storage room where you can keep them for the day (just a small train ride over and back).

This is definitely a hotel I would highly recommend to stay at. We plan to stay here again in the future.
