The hotel is very well located,in the main street of Manarola, just cross the street from the entrance to the train station. We had the most pleasant stay. My only recommendation is, if you come by car, to leave your suitcase in the car trunk in the parking lot and come to the hotel only with the necessary for your stay, as the way back to the parking lot on the top,of the hill is very steep and difficult with a suitcase, even with the rolling ones. Manarola is so beautiful, we really loved our stay and Affitacamare San Giorgio was the perfect option.

I made my own trip plan. This Hotel was a great choice. Manarola was the best choice for us. This hotel was sooooo close to the train tunnel exit. Our room was clean large and comfortable in every way. We had a balcony with awesome views. Simone, the caretaker, was way beyond my expectations. He took as much time as we needed to answer our questions and give us inside tips on how to navigate the Cinque Terre area. The restaurants he recommended were great....including the best meal experience of our 2 week Italy trip!! At one point in my discussions with Simone...I stopped and said .."i'm sorry I am taking up your time"....Somone answered with no hesitation..."no you are my guest!!!". WOW, That's exceptional customer service! GREAT HOTEL, GREAT HOST, GREAT LOCATION.

Room Tip: Check in is a little different. Have a plan with Simone before you arrive. There is no reception de...

We had a delightful stay in Manarola. Simone was the most gracious and helpful host we encountered of the five places we stayed while in Europe. He gave us great recommendations on places to eat, hiking trails, making train reservations for our return trip. He also gave us a bottle of wine when he heard we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. We hope to return to Manarola...and we definitely will plan on staying in this place again!! If you are going to Cinque Terre---THIS is THE place to stay!!!

This was a great find in Manarola Italy.Just right out of the train tunnel. Not a big flashy sign, just a little plaque with hotel number. Rooms were big and modern and very clean. Simone the attendent, helped us with any needs, made suggestions as to where to eat.A nice little cafe next door for breakfast, and other great restaurants down the road. Manarola was our favourite village, easy to walk and you felt like part of the town. A perfect place to stay 5/5 There is a post office, laundry and many fruit/veg markets.

Room Tip: When exiting the train tunnel, small cafe is straight ahead, yellow building to the right next to cafe...

We were really impressed with the size of our room and how modern and clean it was. This is the perfect home base for Cinque Terre. Wether you're planning to hike the trails or use the train to visit the other villages, the hotel is perfectly situated. A word of note, there isn't maid service, so be sure to hold on to your towels after showering. The cafe next door will knock off 10% of your bill if you show them your room key.

Simone was really helpful with restaurant recommendations and a map of the best photo locations. We look forward to returning to this hotel soon. Many thanks again to Simone for making this an easy part of our vacation! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Our experience with this lovely little hotel was great from the start. We (3 sisters) stayed in a spacious, clean and very comfortable apartment at the top, on the 4th floor. The suite we had was bright, with a cool terrazzo floor and the furnishings and linens were new and modern. San Giorgio is just a few steps past the train tunnel, on the main street. The views from the front balcony and the back terrace allowed us to observe the hustle and bustle of street life, and the daily trek of visitors down to the harbour, as well as relax and watch the sunset, and the hikers trekking past the terraced vineyards. I think it’s the best little place to stay in Manarola. There is no elevator, but Simone helped us with our baggage, was always helpful and offered excellent recommendations and assistance whenever we asked. Simone is very special … he not only cares about the well-being of his guests but is thoughtful and passionate about the future of Manarola and The Cinque Terre. He has a great sense of humour and he made our stay a very welcome one.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony.

Loved the place! Clean, modern, and the perfect location.
Walk from the train station tunnel and it is right there.
Great little breakfast place just next door. Lots of good restaurants sas well.
Simon'e was very helpful. He gave us suggestions on where to hike and get around the town.
He also helped with dinner reservations and was a great wealth of information.
After visiting the other four cities, we were very glad we chose Manarola and especially the
