The hotel is located in the Old Town, so it is about a 10 minute stroll from the train station. From the front, you enter through restaurant/reception desk. The place feels contemporary, intimate and cozy. The owner's check you in and get you to your room.

The rooms are clean, spacious and have all modern conveniences. The view is magnificent and the balcony overlooks the beach and the trail to the other four towns. There is the occasional passing train.

You are right near bars, restaurants and shops.

The breakfast is plentiful with special order's accepted.

Our only complaint was the WiFi strength was poor.

If you stay here, you'll love it!

Room Tip: All the rooms have an ocean view!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Pasquale. It is walking distance to the train station and centrally located to everything in town. The hotel is clean and fresh. The bathroom, though small, new. The view from our window, beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful. The owners, extremely friendly and accommodating. As newcomers to the area, we were unclear about the "best" town to stay in in Cinque Terre. We discovered each town is only a short train ride from the next, so it really didn't matter. Monteresso had a very small town, local feel. We were happy with our choice!

My wife and I stayed at hotel Pasquale May 4-6, 2014 and were very pleased. The staff was most pleasant and helpful (and seemed to be as excited as we were when our lost luggage arrived). The room and view were excellent, and the food was delightful. We enjoyed Monterosso very much, and Hotel Pasquale was a big part of that. We will be highly recommending you to our friends who travel to Cinque Terre.

Room Tip: The view of the water was perfect.

This is such a beautiful town. The hotel was very clean and the room were very large. We booked a triple room which had two rooms. The view was fantastic!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Don't miss the Cinque terra towns. They are so beautiful. Traveling by train was very easy and if you needed help the locals would help!! as always in the main train stations and bus stations watch out for gypsies. We all carried our money and credit cards in wrists wallets which are impossible for pickpockets to steal from you!!

Booked this hotel well in advance from Australia and the owners vould not have been more helpful. Our base for the Chinque Terra. Our room opened looking straight at the sea only the village road and beach between us and water. Simply picture postcard breathtaking. Staff were very helpful with planning our walks and which trails to take. Breakfast is adequate and for a small charge something can be preparred. Coffee however was brilliant. Elevator is a little tricky may not stop on your floor so easiest to go one up and carry bags down the stairs. The walking trails were being repaired but were still accessible. At home we generally walk around 60kms a week but in plaves it was tough going due to the steepness and the width of the stair treads. Still saw people attempting the walk in thongs and shoes with a heal. Most broke down with sore feet and blisters. Anyway just to break things up we walked to three villages having morning tea in one then lunch in the next (reasonably priced) then caught the train to the remaing villages and the caught the last ferry back to Monterosso. Very happy with our stay and we are planning our return. Highly recommend. Thanks to all staff for a great stay.

We recently had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. The location is excellent right by the ocean. The room was clean and the bathroom was very nice as well. The breakfast was excellent and had lots of options.
Monterosso is an excellent base for a stay in the area. It has several good restaurants. We walked from Vernazza to Monterosso and it was wonderful. I would suggest not going from Monterosso to Vernzza as there are a lot of steep stairs to navigate. We met several people who turned back!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

What a lovely family Hotel Pasquale is! So helpful and friendly and happy to answer any questions along the way.
Beautiful, clean rooms with great bathroom and big shower!
We had the most amazing sea view which we just could not get enough of! Monterosso is a beautiful town and we think the best to base yourself in. So many great places to eat and cute stores selling everything from leather sandals to pesto and ceramics. We celebrated Easter here and what an amazing experience it was. Definitely on our list of places to come back to!
