We very much enjoyed our stay! Breakfast was yummy, and location was great! Room was simple and a typical Italian bathroom. Only negatives were the pillows were hard as a rock and so was the mattress. But if you are someone who likes that, then this is the perfect place for u!!

We stayed at the Albergo Amici for two nights while visiting Cinque Terra. The hotel had a quaint Italian feel. The rooms were fine and the hotel staff was friendly. There is a rooftop terrace that is a great place to relax with a glass of wine. The hotel is located in the older part of town - a bit of a walk from the train station. It is close to lots of shopping opportunities, restaurants, the beach and easy access to the infamous hiking trails. Breakfast was amazing - I don't know what they did to make bacon even better than it already is!

My wife and I stayed at Albergo Degli Amici for 2 nights and our stay couldn’t have been better. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the train station but the walk has amazing views of the sea.

Location wise, it is in the new town of Monterosso, where most of the shops and restaurants are so it is perfect. Also, the view from the gardens are gorgeous. A perfect place to relax with a bottle of wine or some beer before heading to bed.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was good as well.

The room was clean and adequate. There was a small terrace which was nice. If the terrace door was open, there was lots of noise as there was some kind of cafe or something next door, even early in the morning with loud voices and dishes clattering. With the doors closed the room was stuffy. The bathroom was nice with a good shower, although the hairdryer is probably 40 years old! The location was good. The staff was good. Breakfast was good with lots of choices, but only one coffee machine, so there is always a line for coffee. Nice hilltop terrace.

Great location. Simple room- lacked charm. Tiny bathroom. Having the balcony was great for drying out clothes and having a drink. The breakfast was plentiful with many varied options, but very busy and felt like a school cafeteria.
