Helpful staff, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help out with trains, cooking classes and things to do. Comfortable rooms and well maintained - it is a 200 year old building!
Close to train station but away from main street so keep its quiet and serene.

We were here at the Beginning of september 2013. It was unbeatable experience. They make you feel as special guest of family in an elegant italian villa .
Important!!!
Request from owner's daughter to prepare chocolate chipped decorated cappuccino for you... That will be one of the best tasting cappuccino in your life...

We had five fantastic days here in the end of July. Friendly staff, clean room with a lovely balcony, great breakfast made our stay a memorable one.
Extra plus as the hotel as situated on the quiet side of the railway.
Good value for money.

Room Tip: Try to book a room with balcony.

Walking up to the villa you would think that all is good for a nice stay in Monterosso. Unfortunately this is not the case here.

The foyer and breakfast area are quite pleasant but this is where it ends.

The rooms are small, sparse and poorly furnished. Light fittings had blown globes, which weren't replaced when asked for and provided poor light. The tv was smaller than my 13" laptop and had NO English channels. And even the Italian ones didn't work properly. No tissues in the room and even the toilet paper was a roll on the floor without a dispenser. The bed was ridiculously hard, pillows too soft and bits of timber sticking out of the base for you to hit your shins on. The air conditioning hardly worked and when in use for a few hours on full, made sounds of a train coming through the room.

The shower had mould growing up to the ceiling and basically it was so small you could hardly turn around in it.

The elevator was small and smelled as if an animal had died in there.

For €170 per night it is poorly priced and huge rip-off as this rates slightly better than a backpacker's hostel.

As a positive, the young man at reception was very helpful with directions and tourist information. The breakfast was plentiful with good fresh local produce.

My wife and I spent a delightful 5 nights at Villa Accini from July 18-23. Staff was very helpful with any requests that we had including restaurant recommendations. Distance from Old Town was not really a problem since we are accustomed to walking. Convenience to train station was great. Breakfasts were always good and food was fresh. We would go back in an instant.
