We had a great stay in the new apartment. Great location and beautiful place. Hedda provided great information on Cinque Terre with fantastic restaurants and local food shops. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I cannot recommend Bellambra highly enough. We stayed for 2 nights (March 10-12) and we loved every second of our stay in Cinque Terre and especially Bellambra.

Monterosso al Mare: We think Monterosso is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. It is the largest of the 5 towns and has a public beach and the most restaurant options. The train runs to all of the other towns. While most of the charming/challenge walking path is closed after a flood in 2011, the path between Monterosso and Vernazza is still open and is a wonderful way to start a day tour of the 5 cities. It takes about an hour and is replete with stunning vistas.

The hotel/room: Beautiful, clean, modern, spacious and wonderful bathroom, and everything was absolutely charming and perfect. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast at the enoteca downstairs was delicious, and the wifi was very fast. The hotel is perfectly located to in the middle of the old side of town and the view is pretty great.

Value: Very, very affordable and well worth every dollar.

The service/owner: Hedda was soooooo amazing and wonderful. She waited for us when our train was delayed and we were very late getting to the hotel and was as pleasant and helpful as we could possibly have hoped for. She gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations, was available at all times via email for help with directions (amongst other things), sent out post cards for us as we were running to catch the train (she wouldn't even take money for the postage which is actually kind of expensive in Italy), and we even met her precious daughter when she came at the drop of a hat to let us check out when we realized we had read the train schedule wrong and needed to leave ASAP.

In conclusion, Bellambra was a magically romantic adventure for my wife and I. We can't wait to go back!!! Thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful Hedda!!!

Ciao

Bellambra apartments and rooms were perfectly located to feel part of the community. Lovely local food shops and restaurant nearby. The apartments were so elegant and comfortable with amazing bathrooms and kitchens. Will return as soon as possible. Would not stay anywhere else.

After a week of less than friendly service in France we were greeted by the owner of this lovely B&B who took us for an aperto at the enoteca downstairs...and it just got better from there!

The room was beautiful and in a perfect location for exploring the Cinque in winter. The bathroom was beautifully designed and there was a lot more space in the room than in most European hotel rooms.

The owner recommended a number of walks for us to do (as many are closed in winter) and also have us some great restaurant suggestions.

The cleaning lady noticed I had used an extra blanket one night and I promptly had an email from Hedda asking if we were okay and giving me instructions for the heating system. This just demonstrated the care and concern shown by the owners of this beautiful B&B.

Do yourself a favour and stay here. It is wonderful! If you are coming in winter I would highly recommend Monterosso as a base as it seems to be the most open of all the Cinque villages at this time of year.

3 of us stayed in the newly renovated apartment in September. I've told everyone I've spoken to that you not only get great accommodation in a fabulous location but you also get Hedda - the owner of the apartments who gives the best advice for whatever length stay you have. We stayed 6 days and with her help our time was excellent. While this accommodation is located in the Old Town with all the authenticity of history, the actual internals of the apartment were modern and efficient. Looking at other places available, I would rather this place being quiet and in the middle of the quaint restaurants other than other places which may offer ocean views. We felt immersed in the town and watching the restaurant owners and shopkeepers set up every day was another bonus of the location. Would definitely stay there again and very envious of anyone going there before I get back there!

This apartment was amazing, very spacious, modern, right in the heart of the old town.. Hedda and her husband were great hosts with all their local knowledge, and even gave us their garage to house our car for the week.We were met and escorted to our apartment, given a glass of wine and map of the area, plus where to go to the best restaurants and shops. The walks to other towns were not easy but worth the effort, and the train station was very close by if you wished to go by train and not expensive.. Very close to the beach. Our apartment also had excellent WIFI and all cooking equipment to suit your needs. Beautiful place. highly reccommend

Room Tip: First floor apartment is the best but we did not see the other rooms

We stayed at the BB on October 20th. It is new and well-decorated. The owner is very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Lemon room. The building has no elevator and the stairs is narrow and steep so better make sure
your luggage is not too big and heavy.
Breakfast is so so. It is not buffet breakfast but they will give you few options to order. Anyway, one drawback is it is a bit noisy. Think it was from a room upstairs but it was only around 9-10 pm and 7-8 am.
