“Excellent location”

Perfect location in the cinque terre's busiest and beachiest town. Rooms were very, very tiny. We had a double bed and there was just enough room to walk around the edge. No a/c but it was only a problem during the day. Our room was on a very large shared balcony on the back side of the hotel, so not much view, but that was Okay for us. Breakfast was great. Staff were very polite.

We enjoyed a lovely week at this hotel. The staff were constantly helpful, full of local information and always up for a chat. Signora Giovanna, the manager, is an absolute delight and very helpful. The local beach is delightful and within easy walking distance. Breakfasts generous and delicious. Fresh fruit every day and a choice of pastries and breads. Rooms are a good size, simple and well equipped. Very clean and well serviced. Monterosso al mare is certainly the best place from which to explore the Cinque Terre - be sure to take plenty of water with you on the paths!

The hotel also has a car park - this is a golden amenity believe me!

This hotel is staffed by very friendly people. The hotel is located a short walk from the train station and beach making it a perfect location. If you want to be in the old town that's in the opposite direction. The rooms are quite small and the shower the smallest I've been in so much so that my elbow kept flicking off the tap. There was some sort of heat coming from the floor and wall in one area too. We had a lovely view of the fountain from our room and the breakfast was brilliant. The hotel also do not charge the nightly fee that is normally charged anywhere in Italy so I'm guessing they pay it for you!! Nice to check out without charges. The hotel is emasculate in cleanliness too. One negative is that the air con didnt appear to work but I'm sure they would have attended to it had we asked. There was a ceiling fan as well. Great place.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the outdoor terrace provided a quiet spot to begin or end our days.. The staff spoke English well, were friendly and helpful. Its best feature was its location: a flat, short walk from the train or ferry station which was much appreciated at the end of the day. Being so close to the beach turned out really well as we ended hot days lying on the beach for a couple of hours. We used the private beach recommended by the hotel and it was worth the 15 euro per person to have beach chairs & parasols.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the terrace can be a bit noisy when there are people using the terrace.

The hotel has a very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is situated 100 meters from the beach and we enjoyed the morning swims in the sea before breakfast and the famous hikes to Vernazza and Corniglia. The hotel offers free parking, possibly limited, but the capacity was sufficient during our stay in July!

Booked this hotel as one of few which had vacancy as we booked relatively late. Glad we chose here as hotel was great. Most of the staff spoke English which made a big help. They had LOTS of pamphlets on their front counter with maps, train/ferry timetables, restaurant recommendations, etc which helped a lot.
When we arrived they only had two rooms free. One small room with air con, or one larger one with no air con (but with a ceiling fan). We chose the larger one as we had two large-ish suitcases. Glad we did, even though we were there in July, the room was never uncomfortable with fan on.
They have their own private car park too which helps as parking on street requires money.
The hotel was 2 mins walk to beach, 5 mins walk to old town.
The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Bed was firm but comfortable.Would stay here again if visiting Cinque terre.
