We are on our honeymoon and stayed here for 3 nights. Barbra at reception upon arrival was grumpy and tired.. No joy! We had a sea view and it was delightful-wine on the balcony...very relaxing!
Most staff members weren't overly friendly except for Katya at reception (evenings) & younger lady organising coffees at breakfast- just lovely!
Breakfast was simple...not great. Bathroom: small but shower was fantastic!! Great pressure & hot water!! Best we'd had!
Shuttle service worked well but every half hour would have been more convenient at busy times.
Internet (Wi-Fi) dropped out every evening but worked really well in the mornings.
Overall a pleasant stay.. Overpriced, certainly not luxurious but views & shower were its saving graces :-)

This is my first time writing a review but felt I had to a after reading reviews here. We stayed here for four nights and found it excellent, We had a sea view which I would recommend requesting, our room even had a sea view from the toilet aswell!! The staff were helpful, breakfast was typical Italian and delicious, the shuttle worked really well - I could not fault anything - our room was spacious with modern spacious bathroom, minibar, toiletries and room cleaning daily. Wifi was good. I will definetly stay here again if I visit Cinque Terre - thank you to all the staff for a memorable stay!!

From the less than warm greeting on arrival to the tiny room, this hotel was lacking in charm and atmosphere and at Euro 145 per room, very overpriced. Given that it is on top of the hill with plenty of land (good view) the small room size is not restricted by quaint architecture but by design. The breakfast was lousy, the toiletries in the bathroom were not replaced daily, the bathroom in minute, there is no tea or coffee station in the room and only one pillow is "issued" per person. It was more appropriate to ask which ward you were in rather than which room you were in. Positive points are available parking, view and the hourly shuttle down the hill. They managed to take a beautiful part of Italy and remove all the charm - the bad 70's styling didn't help either. The Wifi worked twice while we were there.

Second floor sea view room is spectacular. Views from your patio of all of Cinque Terra, although parking lot a bit in the way. Make sure you get a sea view particularly if you plan to stay more than one night. Not sure if I would stay here without it for more than a night, unless the room price was fantastic. The view and patio really make the place and you can spend a whole afternoon enjoying the patio with a glass of wine or two, some snacks and a good book. Hotel provides free taxi service up and down the hill about every hour, but if you are less patient like we were desiring to get started right away early in the day or to be back in your room after a long day hiking, you "take the hill" and it is quite a trek, particularly up (we did it 4x). The hotel, despite its name, is not luxurious. The rooms, while large, are pretty spartan and the beds were just ok. The bathroom was tiny but had plenty of hot water. There was a minifridge--stocked full --so you had to move their stuff out to get your stuff in. Breakfasts were great--in my view. No eggs or bacon, but not for us. We preferred the hot coffee latte, fresh yogurt, fresh fruit and hot steamy croissants. The staff was a little grouchy (except for the pretty young lady at breakfast with a big smile serving coffee and the two very helpful night staff who sent us up with a hot thermos of coffee and breakfast goodies because we were leaving so early in the morning--excellent service there). Staff was not persnickety about enforcing the rule about not taking away a breakfast item or two to eat later. Be aware you need to get the gate exit code and to walk down if you are leaving before 7 am. Lobby area also needs a bit of a renovation to really be a real bar. We'd stay here again, although I'll bring my own pillow next time.

We stayed at Suisse last night and must admit the view was amazing. The hotel is situated high on the hill and there are plenty of outdoor lounges to relax and enjoy the view. Parking is available on site if you are driving. There is a free taxi service to and from the village and it picked up every hour which was certainly adequate but I am sure that it would operate more regularly during the summer. The room was clean and comfortable with big soft bath towels, which I enjoyed but it was certainly not luxurious. The reception staff were pleasant and stored our bag for the day after we checked out so that we could continue to explore the town and come back to pick it up before our train departed. Breakfast was ample but the restaurant staff were certainly not friendly and were quite abrupt when speaking to guests. This was a shame.
