“A Traveler's Hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2014

Hotel Adriana is close to the train station, the sea, and a very reasonable, scenic walk to old town. We loved that there was a free, shaded car park at the hotel. Our room was tidy, clean, bright, but small for the cost. However, the rates are in keeping with other hotels in the area. The breakfast presentation was adequate with traditional choices of meat, cheeses, and cakes. They did have some wonderful fresh breads and a nifty toaster. Also, you could eat inside or outside. Its a bit steep going up from the street up to the office of the hotel, especially if you are dealing with luggage, but not insurmountable. Also, the walls between rooms allow noise to pass through, at least in our room.

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony. The rooms are not large and it is nice to sit outside and view the sea.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Adriana in May 2014. The facilities were very nice including a very good breakfast but the highlight was the staff. They were very welcoming and accommodating and even helped arrange a mother's day surprise for my sister with a bottle of Chapmagne waiting at breakfast.

This place is great. The staff could not have been nicer. They were so willing to help with anything we needed. The hotel is Very clean, wonderful towels, breakfast was great and again the wait staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is bright and cheerful. Private parking for your car is a plus. I loved my balcony with a view of the sea. I would highly recommend this hotel.

An ok hotel, clean and comfortable.

Main benefits: parking, location (2 min from the sea), beautiful garden.

The rooms are very simple, but clean and rather new.

The hotel also has a religious atmosphere - it's near the church, you'll see definitely a Cross in your room, there's a Virgin Mary monument in the garden.. But all looks beautiful

This spot is a great place to arrive and launch from in the Cinque Terre region. It is close (and an easy walk) to the train station for access to all the Cinque Terre towns, and for us, to arrive from Pisa and leave to Milan. Our room was spectacular: a double, with a balcony and view to the sea. The price included a full buffet breakfast, which was amazing. For the room rate, you can't do better in the Italian Riviera! The service was great for what we needed, too. We stayed for 2 nights, and on one night we chose to have dinner in the restaurant, having hiked all day on the trails. It was lovely, and well priced. We would recommend this place to other travelers!

This hotel is within easy walking distance from the train station. As there is a slight incline to the reception area, it perhaps is not suitable for people with mobility problems. Our family accommodation on the top floor consisted of two rooms (each with two single beds) separated by a bathroom - perfect for 4 single travellers or a family. The accommodation was spotless. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help in whatever way they could. The continental breakfast offered good quality food. Monterosso is the perfect base for a short stay in the Cinque Terre and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We stayed there for one week in April and we really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and clean and we had a little balcony with chairs and a table which was great. We could even see the sea from there. The breakfast buffet was also great with lots of fresh fruits, different bread and cereals. But the best was the incredible friendly and helpful stuff. The hotel was a bit pricy but that seems to be normal in Cinque Terre!
