We stumbled upon this place and thought the prices looked reasonable and the reviews were good, so thought we’d give it a try. My ravioli and panna cotta were excellent but my daughter didn’t really like her food. My son enjoyed his and my wife thought hers was OK. The ambiance and service was good. Really nice and relaxing music too. So overall a four. Pictures of our food attached.

I love my italien food. And ther are great options right next to santa teresa (f.e. rosmarino) but santa teresa charges 7.50 for a beer, 8 euro for sides (somes simple carrots) and up to 22-euros for mediocer dishes. No Italien will ever pay that for the offered qualitiy, therefore its only visited by tourists that inexplicably leave great comments. Dont believe them.

Thank Philipp K

Gentilissimo recensore,

A quick lunch ended up being a sumptuous kitchen finesse.
Fried anchovy were on the top league.
The pasta with lobster was top notch.
Wine and dessert en par.
Not expensive at all.
Would go back

A young cuisine based on tradition. We had excellent steamed seafood followed by Asian inspired palamita and then a super Mille feuille. The wine recommendations were trustworthy and the service perfect.
Worth going back to next time in Genoa.

After several years, we returned to Santa Teresa, the restaurant which is very close to Palazzo Ducale. and to Porta Soprana. The dishes offered in this restaurant are mainly based on fish and seafood, although there are also some based on meat. We tried tiepido di mare con cozze, gamberi, calamari, scampi, vongole e verdure di stagione (a plate of seafood accompanied by seasonal vegetables) and then calamari accompanied by a glass of wine. Both dishes were produced with very fresh seafood and both were delicious. For dessert we chose semifreddo di pistacchio (pistachio parfait) and hot chocolate flan accompanied by vanilla ice cream. Service was efficient and the price respected the quality of the food.
