The hotel was likely once a beautiful, grand hotel. It is now a bit run down (broken wood flooring, worn carpets, etc). My room was very large (larger than any hotel I think I've ever stayed in Europe!). The room was supposed to be set for two people - that ended up being two single beds, made up separately and pushed together! This was not what I expected and was disappointed in finding this. So, if you want the room set appropriately you probably need to specifically ask!
The bartender is very nice - great service!
