“Great place to stay”

This hotel is very clean and modern, close walking distance to many attractions and transportation, and has a very helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again! The breakfast is a nice variety for everyone's likes, and the restaurant just across the street is wonderful.

Very well run hotel. Our room was a good size for Europe standards. The breakfast was complete, they have everything you could want including cappucino. The location is perfect for walking about Genoa. If we go back to Genoa, we will stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a patio.

I've nothing to say more than this. I only add that there was not enough space to sit in front of my computer because of the king bed behind the chair. Also, a bottle of water is now something that is complimentary and not charged in many hotels...Here is 3.5€. But there is a coffee/tea machine (good).

Easy to find, got the Velabus from Airport to Piazza de Ferrari, then 2 minute walk to the hotel. Pleasantly welcomed. Was a little disappointed with the size of the room but saying that it had everything I needed. Single bed was really comfortable, great view, Wi-Fi was fast. On 6th floor so needed the lift which occasionally took forever to get. Breakfast was great, huge selection, from fruit, cereal, cheese, hams, salmon, breads, cakes etc.... Staff always there for you. Great location, central for everything & the hop on/off sightseeing bus can be picked up in the Piazza.

2 minutes walk to Piazza de Ferrrari, location does not get better than this! The staff in the hotel is very attentive, friendly and informative. The rooms are a bit small, but they are modern and elegant. The included breakfast is very complete with fruits and eggs, but do not pack too much for breakfast because Trattoria de Maria is just around the corner serving some of the best lasagna pesto there is for lunch. Great value for your money.

Room Tip: They have some specialty rooms: sound proof or with a better view, call them in advance to learn abo...

This is our 2nd stay at the Best Western and once again service and standards had been maintained. Only 2 minor grumbles: 1, toiletries - on arrival there was not a full compliment of toiletries and what was there was partly used and they were not replenished daily. Also the spare bed did not have a duvet on, it had only a sheet, which meant a trip down to reception after a flight and a train journey and all was put right. 2. On departure the guy checking us out did not acknowledge us (and I do speak Italian) neither did he offer to ring for a taxi for us - he decided his attractive colleague was better company then us hey ho! .

HOWEVER, We had a terrific stay, the rooms were reasonable size for a city, superbly cleaned and the staff on arrival were just fabulous. The restaurant staff, just like last year, were attentive and helpful and deservedly get a special thanks. We would definitely consider staying here again.

This boutique hotel is a rare gem. It is optimally located in the city centre, very affordable and offers 5-star service. The rooms are comfortable, clean and tastefully appointed in modern decor. Ours had a balcony overlooking the city.

The complimentary breakfast is outstanding with an abondance of fresh fruit, eggs, cheese, croissants, jams, honey, cereals, yogurt etc. What really stands out is the excellent and caring service. Special thanks to Grace and Andrea for making our stay extra special.

You can't go wrong. One word of caution, if you are driving to the hotel, get directions beforehand as it is somewhat difficult to find. Also, make sure to reserve a parking spot when booking your room as space is limited.
