Great hotel with very friendly staff. Unfortunately we were only able to stay here one night, but it was an excellent hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The windows had metal shutters controlled via a switch that can be used to reduce noise and light from outside, which made the room very quiet. It cost €25 to store the car in the private garage for one night. Location was convenient, and we were able to walk to the main attractions and restaurants.

Definitely recommend this hotel, and wish I could have stayed here longer!

Loved this hotel, It was really well built and very well maintained, clean, not noisy and you can use the hot tubs on the roof terrace of the Savoia next door. The staff at both hotels were great. It seems to be from the early 20th c and has an art nouveau feel to it. Italy seems to have lots of these old hotels at reasonable rates and to me they feel so much more special than the new chain hotels. Outside the hotel is fine but Genoa in general is not the smartest of places. It has some wonderful buildings but at the end of the day it's an industrial port. Interesting for a day, and this hotel is a fantastic place to stay.

Room Tip: Rear rooms have no view but are more quiet. Having said that the double glazing was great. v good wifi

Wonderful hotel. Large clean rooms. Fabulous bathroom. Great location. Loved everything!

Based in the old city of Genova, this was across the road from the main train station which provided easy access to nearby Santa Margherrita for our diving and a day trip to the cinque Terra.

Easy walk to some great eating at local restaurants nearby too :)

Only negative, a bit of street noise if you are in one of the front rooms.

Stayed: July 2014, travelled as a couple

I chose this hotel hoping to park the car and not have to use it for 3 days and I want disappointed.
We have walked, used the hop on/ off bus and the train. All within 2 minute walk.
The hotel facilties are clean and our room was fantastic. We were on the 5 th floor towards the back, the doors are double glazed and also have electronic shutters. Minimal noise.
Disappointed definitely not. Friendly helpful staff.
The young lady in the breakfast room kept everything full and fresh. Credit to her when it was very busy.
