We wanted a cheap place to stay overnight in Genoa near Brignole Station, and chose this based on Trip Advisor recommendations. It was excellent for the price, and I am happy to recommend it to others. It is on the fourth floor of a building in Via XX Settembre, a main thoroughfare of Genoa, about six or seven minutes walking from the station. Google Maps took us right there.
Our room was bigger than we had expected for the price, with high ceilings, a sofa, chair, table, television, wardrobe and several chests of drawers. The owner appeared to be renovating, and the room was freshly painted and clean.
We had a bathroom (I understand not all rooms do), and I must admit the shower was tiny. But it was clean, with plenty of hot water.
Breakfast (coffee and a croissant at a local cafe) was included.
The owner was friendly and helpful, but his English was absolutely minimal.
