“The queue is worth the quality and the taste of the delicious seafood they offer”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

Ok, it's true, you have to wait even 30-40 minutes outside in order to get inside the little restaurant and order your meal, but the wait worth it.
Plus, if you see a queue, then it means that it a very very good restaurant, don't you think so??
It is a self-service restaurant, but trust me: you will eat some truly delicious plates of seafood.
What's more is that the owners of the restaurant are the same of who fish the seafood.
I have eaten there several times and just loved it.
Prices are also ok.

“good food to make up for the rainy day”
Reviewed 15 February 2014

After getting caught in the heavy downpour while hiking in Cinque Terre, we went back to La Spezia for dinner and went to this seafood place for dinner. It was really delicious and the seafood is fresh. The only bad thing is there was no clear indication of prices and the staff didn't seem too friendly when we took a long time to decide on what to order.

“average quality, low price, no service, self service, outside camping dinner !”
Reviewed 25 September 2013

Suppose : you have to wait in a queue for 30 minutes to finally arrive at the foodcounter. During your waittime you've made your choices between dozens of foodpictures on the wall (without price-indication), but … none of your preferred items are now available. So you have to chose between 3 or 4 other displayed dishes at the counter in a split second … of course : the queue is waiting, HURRY !
Your dinner throwed on a plastic disposable dinner plate, plastic knife and fork, your wine in a plastic cup. Sitting on uncomfortable chairs on a bare steel table in a dark tent … cozy !
And yes, it is cheap ! No, thanks.

“Fresh but way too salty”
Reviewed 25 September 2013

My family saw the locals having dinner at the restaurant & decided to have a shot at it.

It's a self service concept. Order what you want, pay & bring them out. Seafood are fresh but a tad too salty for us.

“worth the wait!”
Reviewed 15 September 2013 via mobile

from five different sea food dishes and two deserts on our table everything was fresh and well seasoned! if you don't mind the self-service policy and the lack of frills you are going to enjoy this. i know i did- from the two nights i stayed with my group, both were spent there.
