We stayed here for one night to do Cinque Terre during our two week trip in Italy. The hotel is well located in La Spezia and has free parking. We arrived around 11am and they quickly got us on a free shuttle bus and off to the train station for our hike. The Cinque Terre is outstanding but that's a whole other review!
Back to the hotel after a long day we were glad to get to our room which was clean and ample sized. Although the room was basic the bathroom was extremely modern and looked brand new. There is a bar but my husband just grabbed a couple of drinks and brought them back to the room as we were tired.
Breakfast was very good. Delicious cappucinos!

This is a brilliant hotel and a very sensible stop off as it is so close to the junctions of the motorway. But it is a 10 minute bus ride into the town centre. The bus stop is easy to find and the buses are regular.
The hotel provided a great air conditioned room and a good Italian breakfast. Lovely helpful staff too. We stayed two nights and could have easily stayed another two. A brilliant, authentic (no english spoken) pizza restaurant is just near the bus stop too, seek it out for a fab pizza!

Receptionist surprised we were not here to visit Cinque Terre. Does everyone? We picked it purely as stop over from Florence to Nice and it served very well.
Free parking - follow signs for parking to actually find hotel. Very nice reception area and helpful staff. No restaurant, We ate in little place 5 minute walk that specialises in mussels if you like them, but nice pasta too and saved us getting back in car to town.
Large room and shower area well appointed.
Breakfast very nice buffet.

We were extremely pleased with our choice of staying here. No complaints at all and the best value for money. The hotel is in the La Spezia area which is not very exciting, but the new harbour offers some things to do. This is the best choice for those who are driving because they have free parking. Also for those who do not want to pay for the other more pricy Cinque Terre hotels. There is no better way to visit Cinque Terre. The hotel is a few minutes from the port. It has a free shuttle service with a friendly chauffeur. They sell the daily train tickets at their counter which is also convenient. The breakfast, also included, is an amazing spread with lots of options. We always left with our stomachs full. My husband only complained that they didn't have sausages (so that would be a great addition ;) ).
My favourite part about this hotel was the incredible staff. Everyone was friendly helpful and genuine. They even let us use their plates and cutlery to eat food from outside. I have rarely seen such great service in Europe and am very impressed.
If I ever return to Cinque Terre, which I hope I do because it is the most beautiful place I have seen in Europe yet, I would stay here without thinking twice. I recommend you do the same.

Room Tip: The quadruple room 309 has a bathroom bigger than most hotel rooms! If you are 3 or 4 people, this is a great choice.
