“Spoiled Bread”
Reviewed 13 September 2013 via mobile

We purchased 2 "regional specialty" breads at this shop. One was fine, the other had mold in the top. The breads were both fully packaged so one could not tell the condition. If you buy here, beware!

“BEST FOCACCIA EVER!”
Reviewed 24 July 2013

We stopped here to buy some focaccia for our breakfast the day after. After spending 3 weeks in Italy I can certainly say it was the BEST focaccia. Also, the girl in the counter was really nice and willing to help :)

“Yummy Focaccia Bread!”
Reviewed 11 July 2013

This bakery was recommended by our tour guide as a great place for focaccia bread...and boy was she right! Although it would have been better warm, the focaccia bread with rosemary is the best I have ever tasted. Yum!

“Yummy cookies but sadly appears to be a tourist rip off”
Reviewed 17 August 2010

For the few days we spent in Portofino, I did not once feel like I was treated as an American 'outsider' who did not belong, except when we went to the bakery! On two separate occasions to purchase a few cookies, two different ladies behind the counter charged us such an outrageous amount that the 2nd time, I almost handed back the cookies! To charge 8 Euros for 4 small cookies was not appropriate. There were other people in the store and I did not want to make it an issue but I said loudly '8!'
