This is a really nice church that has an interesting history. I liked learning about the church and it's survival through WW2. I would take the trip up the hill to see this church!

This was a nice hike above the hustle and bustle of Portofino. And beautiful views throughout the hike. It was neat to be able to look down and see all of the boats.

As far as churches go, this village church is average; however, the bronze doors were a surprising detail that caught my eye and camera. There is also a small cemetery behind the church that might be interesting (to some folks). As you face the church entrance, on the right side, there is also a place to view the backside cliffs of Portofino (facing towards Genoa). Also, from this small front plaza, you can also see some great views of the harbor below, if you choose not to go up to Castello Brown for the best views of the entire harbor.

Slight incline to go up to this nice church. No problem if you take your time and you will be rewarded with spectacular views on your way and at the little park beside the church. Nice statue in front of the church.

Shops at the bottom of the road with nice items for sale and no trinkets. Nice restaurants with indoor and outdoor tables or if desired just seat on the public chairs at the huge plaza running around the bay.
