Great all around. Wife had the scaloppini. Heard the chef beating this meat for five minutes. If was very thin and really tender (hard to do with veal). I had the pesce of the day. Local white fish. Simple (grilled with lemon butter). Very tasty (few bones but what do you expect). Pasta bolognese was tremendous. Trofie pesto was great(very heavy so be prepared). Had the pasta filled with greens and walnut sauce. I think it's a local thing since I don't recall a walnut sauce anywhere else I've been. Very tasty if you like walnuts. Pasta was very light. Prices were a bit steep but portions more than make up for it. 111€ for six people which wasn't too bad given we had a few drinks too. Off the Main Street by the harbor which was nice (less noise). Very friendly staff. We were the only foreigners it seemed. Mostly locals who all seemed to know each other. Usually a good sign for local cuisine. Highly recommend a visit.

If you are a fish lover, go and try and if you are not a fish lover, try it and you will be one...
A very unpretentious kind of mom's and pap's restaurant where you don't find lots of tourists but locals

Only 1 table left when we arrived and full of Italians so seemed a good sign
Very nice staff - appears to be a family concern- but a little disorganised.
Pleasant home cooked food but not outstanding
None of the courses arrived at the same time - we were always waiting for at least 1 person's dish to arrive - for as long as 5 minutes!
Vegetables seem to be served as a separate course i.e. before the main course rather than with it
Bill for 4 with 1 bottle of wine seemed rather steep at £50 ph and didn't represent vfm compared with what we would expect at home for that - and we live in Central London!

We were recommended this little place by a local artist we met. It was buzzing with local people all ages and you could see everyone was well known to the Lady of the House. We had a top quality meal and would highly recommend this to young and old. It's good value mid range price.
