We spent a week in this great flat and loved every minute of it... Arriving at night, picked up at the aiport for a reasonable 20 Euros by the manager's brother, we had NO idea how amazing the view would be until we were awoken the next morning by the peal of dozens of bells nearby..Situated minutes from the main walking street in the Citta Alta you have location and yet blessed peace and quiet when you want to escape the foot traffic that can be quite heavy at the weekends.. The flat is an oasis of calm in a lively part of the city..
This is a big place for 2 people with a kitchen sitting room and seperate bedroom where we spent time with glasses of wine admiring the view.. The bed is comfortable , the bathroom spacious and modern. Light meals can be cooked if you don't fall under the spell of the excellent restaurants minutes away.. La Tana and De Francos were two of our favorites , both within easy walking distance...This is a real food town.. Local dishes like the osso bucco and polenta should not be missed! If you don't fancy cooking breakfast the Marianna cafe across the street is popular for rolls and cappuccinos
Good wi-fi is available though I would have been happy for a tv to watch the news.. Nuara the manager is very helpful and will be happy to recomend and reserve a a table for you when you arrive. The ride service to the airport she offers is a convenient and affordable touch though the bus will literally drop you off at the door-step if you want to save a couple of euros.... She kindly held onto our bags the last day as they had guests arriving and we had a late flight.
This is a great place.. I highly recommend it.. I can't imagine ANY of the hotels we saw could possibly offer a better view, location or value..
