Different and particular atmosphere, attentive service.
Had the fix menu, 99 Euros for 2 people. Very good quality ingredients, small portions.
Worth to try

If you enjoy encountering a one-in-a-kind ambience, and truly delicious food, accurately prepared and nicely served on creatively attired tables, try Lio Pellegrini, just across from the Academia Museum in Bergamo.

We first "ran into" Lio's about 10 years ago. It was winter and gray and inside was warm and cozy and beautifully and creatively decorated. I will never forget the gorgeous spoon served with the dessert. I had never seen such a shape-spoon and was instantly enamored. I'm sure dessert was delicious but with that spoon it was divine.

Sadly, they no longer have or use those gorgeous spoons but we've been there a few times recently; once in summer where we dined in the interior garden which was alive with plants and "things" hanging about. The seafood, in spite of Bergamo's land-locked geographical position, was as close to Mazara del Vallo possible (with the help of the nearby airport surely they are well served.) Our recent visit was delightful; whatever we ordered was more than delicious, (the adriatic small sole prepared al meuniere sorry can't spell), spaghetti with clams for my husband and I had an appetizer don't remember now what. I doubt you will find anything less than delightful on this menu.
Don't know much about the owners, but I think "he" is Lio, he does the food, the flowers, the insides. An artist of food and ambiance. Enjoy this special place which takes such care in preparing and presenting. Most unusual these days, we find.

Recommended by our hotel manager, this was the surprise restaurant of our trip. Cost and country-chic atmosphere, amazing food, excellent service and value for money although it is considered an expensive place (80 per person, wine included).
The 3-soup primmo was delightful, the main pasta and risotto heavenly made, and the main courses very innovative! Try it and you'll be delighted.
