We arrived by bus from Tremmezzo where we were staying. The journey took about 15 minutes, a pleasant drive along tbe lakeside. There are a few shops in tbe town, most of theml very expensive. In the square was a cart selling all things to do with lavender which looked very co.ourful. We walked along tne promanade to the lido for which there is a charge. The flowers all along our walk were beautiful. From Mennagio you can catch a bus to Lugano in Switzerland but we didnt have passports with us so maybe next time. We had a coffee sitting outside a hotel in tne main square, I forget tne name, but my husband used tbe toilets abd said tbey were disgusting which put a bit of a damper on our visit.
