Italian ice cream is tasty and very quenching. Unusual flavours eg. Pistachio.Good value for money. Little ice cream cakes are also available. A good way to relax on streets side corridors eating ice cream, a must.

My husband and I stopped here twice. First of all it is a very welcoming store front and very clean looking. The first time we got one of their pre-prepared desserts that had meringue on top and bottom. It was good but very sweet. I probably prefer just the regular gelato. Then the following day my husband got gelato from here too and we both tried it. I think he had Fragola and another fruit flavor too. It was very good.

We found this place by walking in bellagio and wasting time, we really liked the gelato here that we tried again the next day. I loved the nocciola flavor and the bacio flavor , yummy for real you gotta try.

We found this gelateria by accident after having drinks and appetizers at the Bellagio Point Internet Café down the stairs on Salita Plino. We walked up the stairs and because we love gelato, we each had a couple of dips of gelato. Remember that if you don't speak Italian, the Italians speak with their hands and so can you. You can hold up the number of fingers for the number of scoops and then point at what you want. But NOTE: Italians start counting with their thumb. So if you want only one scoop, just hold up your thumb (like a hitchhiker in the United States)! If you want two scoops, hold up your thumb and your pointer finger. Be aware that when Italians see the pointer finger standing up, they may assume that you also meant to hold up your thumb and you may get two scoops. If they see the pointer finger and tall man, then you may get three scoops. Or they may have dealt with so many Americans that they can translate American hand gestures into Italian hand gestures. But you might as well learn to speak Italian with your hands and get it right.

Since this was November, another thing to remember is that if you really like gelato and you're going to be driving into rural areas, Italians in non-tourist areas apparently don't eat gelato in the winter as we found in several remote non-tourist areas we explored. But in Rome, Naples, Milano, Venice, and Bellagio, the gelaterias sell gelato in the winter probably because Americans eat ice cream all year round. Enjoy!!

My boys stopped here last week for 2 gelatos. It was worth the climb up to the top street in Bellagio. The area was charming and we ate them just farther down the road in the piazza next to the church. The flavors were very delicious and fresh!
