The location is extremely central which is great. We struggled to find somewhere to park and the guy on the front desk was trying to be helpful but seemed to know very little about the parking situation. One of the cons about being so central I guess.
The apartment itself is very clean and spacious, with simple minimalist furnishings. However, trying to find a member of staff on the front desk to speak to was a nightmare. No-one was ever there, so we ended up having to go to another hotel and get info from them instead. There was no-one there when we wanted to check-out either (office completely closed). Luckily they didn't have our passports otherwise we would have missed our ferry. There were other people also trying to check out. In the end everyone just left their keys on a table outside the office and went on their way. The cost of the room was deducted from my card at some point a few days later, but it would have been nice to pay and check out properly.

If you can climb scores (hundreds?) of steps up to this location, this Residence is very pleasant. We stayed in a very large one bedroom apartment - large living & bed rooms, good bathroom and small kitchenette. The setting is lovely. Somehow we failed to get a lake view (try to arrange that.) Bellagio is gorgeous and the owner gave us an excellent walking tour brochure (we highly recommend doing the walk).

Room Tip: seek a Lake Como view room

Our studio was a lovely spacious, clean comfortable apartment, full of character with a view of Lake Como...just! Between 2 houses! It is right in the heart of Bellagio, although you have to walk up many cobbled steps to get to it! It therefore wouldn't suit anyone with mobility problems or very heavy suitcases!

Although it is a lovely place to stay, the downsides are 2 single beds pushed together in the bedroom and a lot of noise from the residential neighbours.

The apartment was conveniently placed for the shops. There was a lovely bakery just outside the apartment and just down the road (to the right), was another selling freshly baked croissants. A supermarket and a cafe were also very close by.

Room Tip: Lake view rooms available

We stayed in the studio apartment for 4 nights are were very pleased. Clean, comfortable, great location, pretty outside sitting area, peek of the lake from our room, very good value. For the cons: our apartment wasn't quietest place for sleeping as there was a family residence nearby; the reception isn't open at all hours; and without a car, it's a healthy walk up cobblestone steps! (If you go to your left when you get off the ferry, you can walk mostly on the street and avoid most steps, but this place may not be a good choice for someone with mobility concerns.) However, we loved Residence Limonera and would definitely go back.

We had a last minute booking during the new year holiday. A delightful surprise for our family with a spacious apartment at a affordable price. We came in at night (the drive was NOT fun) and awoke to a beautiful lake out our window. We enjoyed strolling the streets the next day and wished we could have stayed there a month. You need to arrive when the office is open for easiest check-in options. A wonderful stay in an epically beautiful location.
