Of the 4 days we were at Bellagio, it rained for 1 and a half days. Do check the weather forecasts and avoid this place in April. Inclement weather aside, Bellagio is gorgeous and the hotel was pretty good especially the view from our balcony which faced the lake affording us a beautiful view of the lake and snow capped mountains.
I would have loved a firmer bed but it was fine for my significant other. The room was clean and bathroom was well heated.
Front desk staff are great. The loaned us a laptop to surf the net and assisted us in calling up a museum in Milan for reservations. We were really impressed as they did not have to do that.
The spread at breakfast is fine and we had dinner once at the same hotel restaurant. The dinner was only average.
While we were there, we did not encounter anyone is our age group (30) or younger. We thought we landed in an old folks home. So, if you are younger and would like to party on with groups of the same age, do check that up first. The other guests were great though and we were there to get away and enjoy the scenery - not to party.
We would stay here again but only if we had a room facing the lake again and of course in warmer days.
