If you want a well maintained, clean, comfortable room with a view to die for and an adequate breakfast (good coffee), come here. The staff are polite and helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I was in the area. There are some steep steps to hotel. Hotel is close to ferries to best places on lake Como and is a cute little town with quite a lot of places to eat. The only fault we could find was the lack of sliced cheese at breakfast, but outstanding Bed and Breakfast.

Room Tip: Third and fourth floor at the front for best view.

I had a hard time finding this hotel. I drove around the town loop twice and didn't see a sign. Then I parked next to the Hotel Suisse and there it was - a small sign that pointed up a pedestrian street to Hotel Bellagio. It's quite a climb, so make sure you get someone from the hotel to help you with your bags. Still it's worth it when you get to your room and see the view. Make sure you get one with a full view of the lake. You won't be disappointed. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful as well. The rooms were a bit stuffy as there was no cross ventilation. So I left the windows open once night fell. The bed was comfortable, too.

We had Room 301 and the views of the lake were exceptional!
Adjacent to the ferries that take you all over the lake you can easily visit all the superb Villas and villages.
The car ferry is also within 100 metres and takes you to Cadennabia which saves a difficult drive up the coast road. There is good, secure underground car parking owned by the hotel within easy walking distance. The owner's English wife, Jane, has a good team who are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. A good breakfast with eggs to order is served on the first floor dining room.

Three couples travelling together booked three lake view rooms. All the rooms were different especially in terms of the view and spaciousness. We had a wonderful view on the fourth floor but the room and especially the bathroom were a little cramped. Our friends room next door was spacious and quite delightful.

The location is excellent. There are lots of shops and places to eat close by. We enjoyed walks to other little nearby villages from the hotel and it was easy to catch a boat across to see the fantastic gardens at villa Carlotta.

There are a couple of things missing that would have raised my rating - no fridge, no tea making facilities and a fairly limited breakfast.
But this is a very clean, comfortable and friendly place. We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was spotless. High speed wifi internet.Location was central (5 minutes walk from the port). Decoration was in old style but well maintain. We stayed in city view which also was wonderful. Value for money.

Room Tip: Not good for old people who has knee problem coz you need to climb the steps to hotel (~20 steps)

This is a minimalist hotel. Not my thing. We had a nice lake view over roof tops, with a nice evening breeze. No bugs at all. Lighting was poor. Bed was not comfortable and pillows were terrible. Staff was helpful. Odd burning wood smell for a while after dark. Laundry mat is nearby. The lake and area are lovely. One night in Como would have been enough for me. We were there two nights.

Only stayed 2 nights but stayed in room 404 and wow what a view!!! Couldn't extend as we had already booked elsewhere otherwise would have loved to stay on! Excellent customer service Sauri at the front desk was charming and helpful and went out of his way for us despite being off duty! Well situated, amazing views and very romantic setting! Breakfast was plentiful and were pleased with rooms / bathrooms!
