Recently stayed here for 2 nights before driving to Northern France.Very impressed with how clean and comfortable the room was. Parking wasn't a problem as the hotel gave us a pass to display in our car so we could park in a blue lined space free. Breakfasts were great, lots of choice and all set up for a 7am start. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English.Ten minutes walk from boat rides around the lake .Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel looks like it has been recently refurbished. The front desk staff was nice and the lobby was neat and welcoming. We had a room on the top floor and it was one of the larger rooms. Being on the top floor and facing a side street meant that the room was very quiet. The room decor was a little dated but the bed was comfortable and everything was neat and clean. There was no mini bar in the room but there is a supermarket 100 metres down the road. The bathroom has been newly refurbished with new fittings. The only annoying thing was the square toilet seat, it might look nice, but it's definitely not comfortable. As with most hotels, the room door doesn't keep the corridor noise at bay so you can hear the kids playing in the hallway.

The quality of the breakfast is good and it has the usual cereals, breads, pastries, cheese and ham etc. They make a good coffee and the staff was polite and attentive. It's not a big breakfast room so you may have to wait if everyone turns up at the same time.

All up, I would definitely stay there again, it's very conveniently located within walking distance to the train station and the town square.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the top floor away from the main street.

This hotel certainly has no view over the beautiful Lake Como. It's practical. It was clean but the rooms were extremely small and there was nothing appealing about the room. The view was to a construction site. But the location is good. You can walk to the lake. There is nothing romantic about this hotel! There are steps to get in so it's hard for carrying luggage. But they have a few parking spots in front of the hotel and we got lucky and could find a spot. That was convenient.

This is a small hotel located a 5 min walk from the city center and lakeshore of Como. This staff is extremely friendly, helpful and the entire hotel exceptionally clean. The rooms, while comfortable are a bit dated in decor. The biggest problem we encountered was that we did have a car for touring the area and discovered on our arrival that the hotel only had 2 parking spaces available..hence we left our car in place for the entire stay. The next time we go we will save the car expense and use the rail from Milan, then once in Como you don''t need a car! If you are looking for luxury, this is not your hotel, but if a clean, economical hotel is what you are after, this is your place!

Room Tip: If you have options on check-in, I would ask to see the rooms.
