This hotel came highly recommended to us. Particularly important is, as a coeliac I have to have gluten free food at all times. The owner is also a coeliac so she knows the score. I was told a simple system was in place, only eat off a white plate. It worked. The staff all helped ensure my Italian food experience was the best. While I couldn't have everything off the menu, I enjoyed great Italian food. It was all simply delicious. We decided to drink only local wine. Good decision. I can thoroughly recommend both the Lugana and the Bardolino Chiaretta. We finished the evenings off with either a Lemonchello or a Grappa. Perfect. We started with a drink that seems to be all the rage at the moment. An Aperol Spritzer or something called a Hugo. Very refreshing.
The staff were all couteous, charming and efficient. We were treated to a very well oiled machine in action. We were looked after excellently from day-break to turn-in time.
The rooms were functional but well appointed and spotlessly clean. With proper toilets. Our room had a bath and a shower, as well as air-contitioning. Very necessary as at one point during our stay the outside temperature nudged 40C!
The hotel has it's own private beach and swimming pool, along with a jacuzzi in the pool. It had it's own landing stage in the lake. I regularly swam in the lake and the pool.
Sirmione Town itself is charming and olde-worlde. We did the Grotto di Catuldo, and the Thermal Baths, as well as an area called "Secret Sirmione".
Excursions to recommend, we did the tour round the northern end of the lake, as well as the tour of the Dolomite Mountains. The latter I thoroughly recommend.

Room Tip: Nothing comes to mind.

What an excellent hotel. We were delighted by this wonderful family-run hotel. Our room was simple but modern and perfectly clean. We had a balcony but not much of a lake view; however, this did not matter because the pool and private beach offered lovely views of the lake. Breakfast was served on the terrace outside too and there was a snack bar also overlooking the beautiful lake. We found it so relaxing there listening to the water lapping on the shore and watching the little boats come and go. The pool had a mini jacuzzi and the water was not too cold either. I am intolerant to gluten and the hotel catered for me perfectly - the owner is celiac and she not only offered home made gluten free bread and cakes (in fact all of the cakes were home made) but ample lunch and dinner options too and she could also recommend local restaurants offering gluten free pizzas and pasta. Sirmione itself is a charming town and this was an excellent and very relaxing holiday.

Highly recommended, this is our second visit to this hotel. Facilities fabulous, very clean, friendly staff, great food. Very peaceful and relaxing, the perfect place to get away from it all. Great location for Sirmione town, a 5 min walk away. Private beach is great and quiet.

We stayed here for 4 nights from 30th June to 4th July 2012. It is a small, family run hotel and has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. All areas are kept immaculately clean with good size rooms. We would have liked a lake-view room as our trip was for a special anniversary, but we were told it would cost an extra 280 euros for 4 nights so be warned! The hotel beach and pool were lovely, the photos don't really do them justice. There is also a nice terrace where you can sit in the evenings and have a drink. The food is of a high standard and the staff very attentive and friendly. The walk into the old town of Sirmione took us 15 mins down a tree lined avenue. There are lots of shops and bars there and you can catch the ferry boats to explore the rest of the lake from here.Sirmione is a beautiful town to explore and surprisingly lively.

Very friendly hotel, recommended by friends - wall-to-wall sunshine for the 10 days we stayed. Good food, and no problems with veggie requests. Private beach with plenty of sunloungers and parasols. Quiet location, but easy walk into Sirmione and then onto ferries to explore different towns on the shores of the lake.

The pool was plenty warm enough for us, spotlessly clean.

All the desserts and cakes at breakfast are home-made - and all delicious!!

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking the lake, although this may cost more

We stayed here 25-28th May 2012.
It is a good location with lake views at the front and back of the hotel and nice to have a 'beach' area with sun loungers (this is actually gravel)
We had a nice size room and shower room. Our balcony was on the side of the hotel, so the front view was of another hotel, however if you looked left and right you could see the lake.
Breakfast is a good continental served on the terrace.
The staff are very friendly, the hotel manager even took us to the bus station when we left.
Be mindful when buying drinks, they are expensive, although they tend to be a double/triple measure.
On the downside, the towels are pretty thin, almost like big cotton tea towels, our balcony only had 2 chairs, no table and no kettle in the room.
The hotel location requires a 10 minute walk into the town

Room Tip: One over looking the beach area .

This is truly a great hotel with such friendly hospitable owners and staff. We stayed for 2 nights but considered changing our plans and staying longer. The private beach with sun loungers and butterfly chairs, and a great (albeit cold at this time of year) pool is a wonderful place to while away the day. The kids loved pottering about in the lake with the ducks. Beds were reasonably comfy (I find most beds in Italy are a little hard for my liking). The walk into the old town is easily manageable for older children (ours were 7 and 10). Best of all, if you cannot eat gluten and are despairing of how you will be able to eat in Italy, you must stay here. The owner is a coeliac, and provides delicious home-made gluten-free bread and cakes at breakfast. Also all of the dinner options can also be gluten-free - we had an excellent dinner here one evening. They can also recommend a local pizzeria where you can get delicious gluten-free pizzas. Highly recommended.
