I have been to this place a few times now on several visits to Milan. You need to reserve a table cos the place is crowded at any given time.
You'll be expected by a genuine Milanese lady who doesn't really speak English, but will still give you a great feeling of being welcome, and she will take excellent care of you (by the way, menus in English are available).
Food and also the wine are based on the Friuli kitchen (i.e. from North Eastern Italy). While the menu is not giving you many choices, it's a confirmation that all food incl. the desserts are home-made, very fresh, and everything I have ever eaten there tastes beautiful. The (first) main dishes are based on pasta or gnocchi, but they also offer (Pasta Fagioli). The (second) main dishes vary a bit, and quite frankly, starting with a Friuli Prosciutto, and having a plate of the pasta are enough to fill everyone. If you close your meal with a Tiramisu, I'm sure you'll want to write a review here as well ... it's absolutely fabulous!
All in all, a great experience, and next time I return to Milan, I will also return to this restaurant.
