The service was fantastic. The receptions were very helpful and great at giving advice ( which attractions to visit etc ) , finding out anything you wanted to know and helping with anything they could.
The room was fantastic. Very big for a hotel in europe. Lovely bathroom. Satellite tv. Internet access ( charged at 7 euros a day )
The location is great. The metro is 200 metres away - it only takes 5 minutes to get into the city centre.
If you want to stay locally for dinner there are some lovely restaurants that aren't too expensive.
The breakfast was adequate.
For us the room was great and the location was perfect. The central train station was 2 minutes walk away.
I would definately reccomend it and stay there again.

Location : even if you have a car with up to date navigation system, you will barely find it.
Check in: took very long, staff impolite and unprofessional ( we had a flat tire, and when we asked where we could find an Audi garage they said : in Rome, without even checking).
Room: we booked a double room and got a single room equiped for invalid people, room was really smelly.
Restaurant: dinner was quite ok, besides of the 3 days old bread and sloppy waiters. Breakfast was a standard buffet, quality ok. The lady who was cleaning the tables started yelling at us for using glasses for water and not the plastic cups.
We booked the hotel for 2 nights but we left after the first night and we did not receive any money back.
For second night in Milano we moved to a real 4 star hotel.

A good idea is never book Idea hotel, for sure we will never make that mistake again.

Staff in reception was rude. Air condition broken the first day. Hotel far far away from Milano with no busses in sight. A huge disappointment. We had booked another idea hotel in Milan, but were transferred because the hotel was beeing renovated! Without any notice.

Normally, I wouldn't put a negative comment as feedback as, having been backpacking through Asia, I do know that you get what you pay for...however, hotel Idea should probably be paying me - that's how awful their hotel and especially their service was! Also, as they have their trip advisor 4 out of 5 rating in pride of place at reception (you'll see it cos you'll queue long enough) I feel feedback is definitely needed!

We stood in the queue to check in for 30 minutes, were offered no "sorry for the wait" or general manners "please, thank you" etc. We checked into our room - 303, and it looked ok, until we discovered no hot water! After a further wait at reception a helpful lady came to our room, agreed it wasn't working and asked us to gather our things and come to Reception to change rooms. After yet another wait, the other lady on reception flung the room key back at us without even a grunt until we had to ask our new room number.

This room was ok. No wifi was a real problem as we only had an iPhone and the hotel was in the middle of nowhere!! Getting into Milan seemed nigh on impossible unless we had taken our car-the whole purpose of booking this hotel was the free parking! We also booked it to do a San Siro stadium tour but had to drive to this also and pay for parking!

On the 2nd evening the kettle stopped working-we told reception-they said someone would be up-they never came. You're made to feel so unwelcome at reception we didn't bother going down again!

Breakfast was good.

Overall, booking this hotel was a huge mistake and if it hadn't been for the waterpark down the road and paying 19 Euro for films in our room we probably would have gone crazy! DON'T STAY HERE!!!

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel while in Milano. I would have rated it a 4 if not for the location. The hotel was clean and modern, the rooms were nice and the staff was mostly friendly and helpful.

I do not recommend this hotel if you are not driving. There is no easy way to get here from the airport or the city if you are using public transportation. It's possible there is a bus that goes by but we didn't see one. The only way is to go toward Rho Fiera or Bisceglie on the Metro and then take a cab from there. Once you are there, the area is nothing much to look at and there is nothing of interest nearby except for the Stadia. Not a big deal if you have a car but otherwise it gets expensive taking cabs to and from.

It's really a shame because the hotel was actually nice.

Room Tip: Nice but not easy to get to
