Super cozy restaurant tucked away in a small street, retrostyle interior with wine cellar charme, very creative but original Venetian combinations in absolute perfection! Must try cod tatar and sweet and sour sardines! Best orange sorbet ever...

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, excellent service (English speaking waiter). Booking is advisable, and can be done online. We had drinks at the little wine bar round the corner before too. Highly recommended.

We decided to try this place after searching Tripadvisor and Lonely Planet. We didnt want 'tourist Italian'. It was about a 15 minute walk so we left in plenty of time stopping enroute for a glass of wine.

The restaurant wasnt busy as it was it's first night opening after the summer break -so we were lucky! The new menu was translated by the very friendly owner as it was just printed. For starters we had the Anchovies and the blue cheese and leek tart. We split them half and half -both were as good as each other.

For the mains we decided to try the tuna fish and the swordfish. The swordfish was accompanied by black rice. After speaking with the owner we discovered it was sourced locally by himself as are many of the ingredients. The tuna was amazing! Really well cooked - a huge portion still pink in the middle! This was served with scallops and breakdcrumbs. Neither of us had the pasta/cod options (and we couldnt have fitted them in anyway) but two guests nearby had and the smell was fantastic too!

We finished up with the tiramisu (made in the restaurant) and the chocolate truffles and rare (locally sourced) smokey flavoured grappa. The tiramisu was beautiful. I never had this dessert before and it was the owners recommendation. The grappa really packed a punch and isnt for the faint hearted! Again a recommendation from the owner!

we aso had a bottle of red with the meal and all in all the bill came to €100 and worth every penny! We would definitely return if only to try more of the menu.

A great little find in Milan!

Recommended to us by local hotel staff as being reasonably priced. We thought it was expensive. The food was good, not great. Very small menu selections. Was in walking distance from hotel, but seemed a little iffy as far as safety went. The atmosphere of the restaurant was the best part of the experience. I sat over a see through enclosure to the wine cellar. The walls are brick and beautiful. Loved this part for a romantic dinner. House wine is overpriced. Not sure that water was not just chilled tap water for 6 Euros.

I’m not a big ‘foodie’, but what we were served here was very good. I had some glazed pork dish that was unbelievably tasty. My girlfriend had steak and loved it.

We stumbled on this restaurant by accident as it was near to where we were staying. It is in an odd location, but that is probably a good thing as the place was pretty full and I think we got the last two seats.

The owner / maître d’ / chef was very helpful, recommended dishes and a nice bottle of wine. A very good find indeed.
