I am sure La Piccola Napoli garners much of its business from guests of the Marriott Milan a block away and I was one of those guests last week. Piccola Napoli probably also benefits from the superior Pace being closed on Wednesday nights (one block in the other direction from the hotel). This was my second time to La Piccola Napoli and like many other reviewers, the food is....ok. My opinion is that the pizza is the best way to go from the menu and I have really enjoyed my diavola pizzas both times. Caprese salads and bruschettas have been decent although nothing spectacular. For the pastas, again, decent but no homemade options and you really have to like your pasta al dente (or ask them to cook a minute or two longer). Because of the proximity to the Marriott, I've found the staff to be accommodating of American eating habits and their English speaking to be above average. So would I spend a big night out in Milan at La Piccola Napoli? Definitely not. Would I spend a Thursday night having a late dinner after a late arriving plane flight? Absolutely.
