“Very cozy very local trattoria”
Reviewed 26 October 2012 via mobile

Quiet small menu. We had gnocc fritti ( fried bread, empty inside big puffs) with gorgonzola and breaseola salad. The puffs are very tasty very original.

“Traditionally simple”
Reviewed 10 August 2012

Pane al Pane Vino al Vino is a simple trattoria not far from the busy shopping area of corso Buenos Aires. The traditional Gnocco Fritto (with either cured meats or cheeses) is the main attraction and it works well as an appetiser to share. The different pastas are also nicely prepared and worth a good go.
The service is friendly and attentive.
€27 each.

“Gnocchi alla Nonna”
Reviewed 30 April 2012

Recommended by the desk clerk at Hotel Nettuno, a small neighborhood restaurant featuring authentic Lombardian dishes featuring local ingredients. I had the gnocchi alla Nonna, a spinach gnocchi with a cream and butter sauce, delicious!

“Great athmosphere”
Reviewed 17 April 2012

Was very convienient as was meeting friends near our hotel. Hotel said place a "tourist" restaurant but we (6) had a great evening. Food no different to a lot of places and they gave a great "happy hour" discount. Full of young Italian in for the happy hour free food which comes with the drinks. Looked good a nice buffet selection. We ate from the main menu but were still given a discount. Would reccommend

“If you want to spend 24 hours on the loo, then this is the place for you”
Reviewed 29 March 2011

Both my brother -in-law and I had the veal, while the girls had other main meals. All seamed fine until 20 hours later when within minutes of each other we were throwing up and forced to spend the next 24 hours on the loo. It was the only meal we had that was the same. Never again! The place look ok apart from the lack of customers! Now we know why! Beware all those that enter here! You have been warned!
